Tuesday morning in Asia, the US dollar soared to its highest level in almost 12-days against the Malaysian ringgit. The dollar also jumped to a 5-day high against the Taiwan dollar and a 4-day high against the Singapore dollar and the Philippine peso.

In trading against its US counterpart, the Danish currency edged higher during early trading on Monday. The Danish krone advanced to a 4-day high of 5.7596 against the US dollar by 6:45 am ET, compared to 5.8545 hit late Friday in New York.
